Tartan never goes out of style. While
checks and plaids may not have a permanent spot in the limelight, planet
fashion regularly gets the highland treatment and tartan has been known to take
Chanel, Vivienne Westwood and Alexander McQueen runways by storm.
Tartan is a style of cloth and in
traditional era it is basically premeditated to look attractive and pretty. You
can avail this pattern in numerous colors, qualities and patterns but still has
limited editions as per the current fashion requirements.
It was the Chanel fashion house who brought
the pattern to the fashion forefront. And last year, Karl Lagerfeld reignited
our love for tartan with Chanel's checked-out show at the Metiers D'art.
It is a wardrobe must-have for most
fashionistas and style conscious celebs have all been spotted in the plaid
print — Jessica Alba, Lucy Liu, SJP and Emma Watson to name a few.
But most recently was Kate Middleton, who
showed her dedication to Scotland and former place of university by wearing an
Alexander Mcqueen tartan suit.
